I understand this is a novella, but I've read more character development and plot in other novella's than this. This is not it. It was mostly telling rather than showing, so the reader doesn't even experience how the characters first got together or crossed a line.

This is definitely a quick a dirty read. 

Eli is the literal embodiment of touch her and I’ll kill you. Cadence seems sweet and innocent but boy does Eli bring out another side of her. 

I get total Bonnie and Clyde vibes from these two. I would be very interested in knowing what comes next with them.
