Arripay

Early in the 15th century, the Hundred Years' war was being carried on by raids on enemy ports, not by armies. Harry Paye, called "Arripay" quartered on England's south coast, supported by the people of Poole Harbour, except Adam Morden. While other young men were out with Harry, Adam studied Latin with Father Hilary, wondering if he had a vocation. Overhearing talk between Harry and an older man, Adam realizes that some of Harry's booty is stashed nearby.
