First of all, I wanna congratulate the author again for her debut book and to think that it's self-published screams a lot of blood, sweat and tears are poured down. I know every author sacrifices a lot for their book to succeed which makes every debut book a lot more special and I'm very proud of them. Cheers to you! <3 I also want to thank Rosie for choosing me to get an early copy of her book. I am honored and blessed to have/owned their precious book!

It took me 2 days to finish this book because I've been busy with school stuff and still am. That's why, I'm sorry for the late review! Okay for starters, this book is easy to read and fast-paced. I love a book that has a content warning on the first page before the story starts and bestie, this have one! I also love the dedications, it warmed my heart "To you, the reader: for taking a chance on me". I'm telling you, everyone deserves a chance. (You deserve it, Rosie.) And no, we're the ones who should be thanking you for sharing your story to fill our minds and to share to everyone.

Honestly, I love this book. For real. I love how women are the main focus here and how they're the ones ruling the kingdom. Proving to everyone that women are also capable of having the throne as much as men does. "The council doesn't trust a woman to rule the kingdom alone. They wanted a man- someone they saw as strong. I wear your father's crown to remind them that-  regardless of my being a woman- I can rule this land better than anyone. Gender be damned " YES QUEEN!! Don't you love it when WOMEN. I think this is when the VENOM song plays. Actually no, this entire book screams VENOM. I love the character development. I love the MCs. Although, the love interest felt quick, I wish there was more interactions between them but I love them both! I love the plot twists. I love the uncertainty and thrill it made me feel, making me more curious the more I read it. And it doesn't disappoint me in the end. God, I love the ending. Makes me sad that it ended because I wanted more haha.
