Wowowow am so disappointed it hurts.

I really thought i would like it because :
One : It's written by R.S. Grey

Two : I have read two of her books and I've rated one of them 4 stars (With This Heart) and the other 5 (The Foxe and The Hound)

Three : I was told it is like The Hating Game, which i really loved, but after reading this i find that they're nothing alike except for the Hate-to-Love thing.

Four : A friend (with a freaking good taste in romances) recommended it to me and i hate to disappoint her by getting disappointed with this disappointing book.

I love Hate-to-love things but the MC was WAY too immature for a 28 years old doctor dudette and i didn't like how the story went and it was just meh

This book was pure entertainment. It was light and funny. I had a few laugh out loud moments. Total escapist book that I very much appreciated.

Lucas Thatcher has always been my enemy. It's been a decade since I've seen him, but our years on opposite coasts were less of a lasting peace and more of a temporary cease-fire. Now that we're both back in our small town, I know Lucas expects the same old war, but I've changed since high school-and from the looks of it, so has he.The arrogant boy who was my teenage rival is now a chiseled doctor armed with intimidating good looks. He is Lucas Thatcher 2.0, the new and improved version I'll be competing with in the workplace instead of the schoolyard.I'm not worried; I'm a doctor now too, board-certified and sexy in a white coat. It almost feels like winning will be too easy-until Lucas unveils a tactic neither of us has ever used before: sexual warfare. The day he pushes me up against the wall and presses his lips to mine, I can't help but wonder if he's filling me with passion or poison. Every fleeting touch is perfect torture. With every stolen kiss, my walls crumble a little more. After all this time, Lucas knows exactly how to strip me of my defenses, but I'm in no hurry to surrender.Knowing thy enemy has never felt so good.

The war between Lucas Thatcher and Daisy Bell has gone on since they were kids, but now they are back home after becoming doctors and looking forward to taking over the local family practice of Dr. McCormick. Unfortunately, Daisy is blindsided because she thought she would be taking over the practice on her own. It isn't long before the war starts again, but this time the winner is going to walk away with a lot more than just bragging rights.

I have mixed feelings about Anything You Can Do. I love the banter between the characters and their chemistry is explosive, but I have so much trouble getting over the fact that these two people are doctors and yet act like they are in middle school. The incidents in the story are funny and add so much to the story, but they also show how childish these two characters are. We do get emails that Lucas has written over the years but never sent that show he has always loved Daisy, but throughout the book, her motives all seem to be about topping Lucas, making her seem immature and selfish. Overall, Anything You Can Do has a good premise but the execution is marred by infantile characters.
