my heart has been ripped out of my chest. this was so amazing and it feels so bittersweet finishing it. ugh 😭

First of all, THIS? WRITING???? It was eerie & atmospheric & hit all the right metaphors at all the right moments. I love love love lush writing like this!! Second, Athan was such a lovely, precious lead MC. I just want to wrap him up in a blanket 😭🫶🏽. The plot did drag a bit in the middle, & the end was…fine? Despite these minor foibles,  I’d definitely call this one a keeper!
