A very good, engaging read, worth to check out for those who like to read about historic events from a more approachable perspective in comparison to academic literature. The choice of telling the story mostly through witnesses reports was interesting and in my opinion it made the book stand out way more, but there were moments when the writing felt a bit convoluted and tough to follow.
