Had so much potential but I don't know what happened in the middle? I think it kinda lost the plot? I'm still disappointed about the "plot twist" like is that supposed to be a good plot twist? Cause it's not lol it kinda ruined the whole story especially the buildup 😟 but I like how the author writes. I appreciate that at least.

2 stars are not enough, but 3 stars are too much. I read this one in almost just one sitting but it lacked so many things, especially the feeling that I look for when I'm reading a thriller. There was no anxiety, no shiver down my spine, nothing. The story looked interesting from the start, but it didn't manage to grip me. I think I only read it as fast as I did to see if it would get better toward the end. It didn't. Just an overall ok book.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 37%.

It's probably not the book and just me but this is so hard to get into. Nothing has happened at page 105 out of 287. No build up and at this point I don't care to know what Stacy has been up to. They both probably killed Zoe and the tedious writing isn't worth the confirmation.
