Very entertaining and cute. I liked that the author started the story with Elouise's POV from when she first fell in love with Beckett, and moments throughout the years that were significant in her infatuation with Beckett. And Beckett is just great, from when he was young to now. I enjoyed their relationship a lot; it was great to see it flourish rather quickly. It was fitting for them and where they are in life.

Have I read this in one sitting? No. Did I wish I could? YES. That’s how thoroughly consumed I was. The small-town setting, the age gap and brother’s-best-friend’s brother trope, the steam levels…it was all gloriously addicting and (very) hot. I inhaled this book to the point that I finished the first and started the second immediately because I COULD NOT STOP.
