Wraithblade

I started reading this book due to feeling bored of a previous book, and boy, am I glad I did. This book was able to get me out of my reading slump and transport me to a world that was both simple yet intricate with details. I didn't realise how much I missed being really drawn into a book, but S.M. Boyce managed to do that within the first few chapters. The dynamics between the characters, the greed on humans and the morals of what is right and wrong in a world of magic, beasts and wraiths are all brilliantly written and I am now waiting with anticipation for book 2.
