this was definitely the darkest and the hardest out of all the books to read, i kept having to put it down but it was so good. this entire series is so good— if you like serial killers / thrillers / murder mysteries at all, i highly recommend this series. it is so well done. also the covers are so explicit but it’s literally not at all omfg

Welp I didn't let myself read the ending. Why do I do this to myself? I just can't finish this, in a good way. Whenever I stumble upon a great book series I can never find the willpower to turn the last page and see to 'the end' but it's fine. This gives me a reason to reread the whole series.

omg i just read the best epilogue ever! 😍😍 the fact that he got the best anniversary present for his baby. we don’t do flowers here 😂. all in all, this series was a good read! the plot twists, the cliffhangers, the cliffhangers were worth it. I couldn’t even drop the series! Lana will forever be my favorite girl. I love her so much 🥺. I support her any day!

the 1-10 phases were awesome. I THOUGHT LANA DIED I WAS SO CLOSE TO CRYING. this series was TOO GOOD, the ending was everything, logan giving lana a man to kill on their anniversary wtf i love them. i’m so sad i finished this series so fast I NEED ANOTHER SERIES

** spoiler alert ** I’ve read the final book and I’m so happy Lana got the happy ending she deserved. She found someone who loves her for who she is and understood her reign on the town that silenced her. Logan is a good man and just wanted to be with her. It’s a very dark series but unfolds into a beautiful ending.

1st of all : fuck that town, they had it coming. 2nd : my loganlana agh my parents love them sm marry me lana pls the suspense after the last town scene god it was killing me screaming and crying of happiness with the end istg - "I love vou." I whisper across his lips. "I love you, Lana Vorhees," he says, grinning. “It's our own twisted version of perfection.” 😭😭😭😭😭

omg. summary: women were getting killed in delaney grove and victoria & marcus evans dad, and jasmine evans husband, robert evans got framed for it, even tho he was the sweetest guy in the town. he was an ordinary janitor but he sheriffs daughter was one of the victims and him and the deputies desperately wanted someone to punish, and those mf’s chose robert. he was killed in a brutal way and his 2 innocent children were punished by the towns people too, especially the sheriffs son, and victorias ex, kyle. the two 16 year olds were beaten, raped and more. no one cared. humans suck. anyways they somehow managed to get in a car and drive out of town cause the town was obviously on the sheriffs side and hated them. [years before, jasmine evans died in a car crash]. marcus died while driving but victoria survived and promised marcus to take revenge. years later, she has a new identity (lana myers) and kills everyone who ever wronged her and her family or just stood by along with jake denver, the hacker best friend who was in a secret relationship with marcus (delaney grove hates gays. marcus was called many names while being tortured and got SA’d badly by the men). lana meets logan bennett and long story short they fall in love and he’s an FBI agent😍 one day he finds out that lana is the scarlet angel and silences her. she turns off her emotions (vampire diaries core) cause he was basically the only reason she wanted to live. he finds out that SHE was actually victoria and not some random girl who wanted revenge for the suffering of the family. he regrets everything and apologizes to lana. they get back together. BTW hadley also works in the fbi field and she found out way before that lana was the killer they were looking for, but lana killed her pedo stepfather soooo they’re besties now. she was fs when she witnessed lana kill the boogeyman. slay. lana and jake make the town SUFFER, make the townspeople leave the town and eventually they kill almost everyone who wronged them, except the deputies. they get killed individually by lana in a room but unfortunately she didn’t realize they were more powerful than she thought. she gets hurt and when the town hall burns down with lana in it, everyone thinks she died. jake rescued her tho (as always my king). they go to greece (lana and logans dream destination🥹) and 3 months later hadley and logan quit their job and join them after logan finally killed christopher denver, jake’s dad and roberts ‘bestfriend’ SHOCKERRR!! he was the original killer and the reason robert was framed. fucking asshole had a crush on jasmine cuz he was in a relationship with her before robert but she then realized he was a narcissistic asshole and left him for perfect robert. christopher was already on like organ dying drugs idk because lana and jake found out before and made one of the victims sisters, who specialized in microbiology make the drugs to make HIM suffer. they live happily ever after in greece and every day on their anniversary lana gets to kill 1 criminal who didn’t go to jail for their crime😝

I was going to live.
There were so many other ways of doing this, but deep down, we both knew this was me tempting death to reunite me with my family. I thought I was okay with that.
Too late did I realize I still wanted to live.
Too late did I realize I’m not ready to die.
I weakly try to dial Logan. It’s a struggle, but I finally manage. He answers immediately.
“Please be you,” he says as though he’s in agony.
“I love you,” I say into the earpiece, still firing in the background.
"No. Don’t do this to me. Fight, Lana. Get out of there. You can do it. I know you can. I’ve seen what you’re capable of.” Just hearing the genuine plead in his voice is breaking my heart.
“You showed me what living was like again. I’d forgotten,” I say softly, hoping he hears me over the rapid firing squad in the background.
“You’re the only reason I’m still breathing right now, Lana. Don’t give up. Not now. Not after all you’ve survived.”
Tears start pouring freely from my eyes as I close them, letting the sounds drone on. “You’re a survivor too,” I whisper. “And you make the world a better place. Don’t ever stop.”
“Lana!” He shouts as I hang up, closing my eyes again, while still firing behind me.
I take a quick, steadying breath before I open the file, and a pair of haunted green eyes stare back at me with a face that doesn’t match Lana’s, but still carries some resemblance.
My heart sinks to my toes as I flip open the pictures, finding the ones they also sent to the police. Nausea almost overwhelms me when I see the marks aligning perfectly with the scars I know by heart.
Leonard doesn’t speak, but I know what he’s thinking. I just had to watch my girlfriend getting raped. It’s all I can do not to kill every- fucking- body wearing a deputy badge right now. Not to mention the sheriff.
I’ve never once thought of killing someone as a desire. I’ve never blurred that line. That’s not the case at the moment.
I hope she fucking kills every last person with a badge who didn’t come to save her when she was left to bleed out.
