A Gorgeous Villain

A Gorgeous Villain

Two years ago, Reed Jackson betrayed Calliope Thorne and broke her heart. So she stole his most prized possession – a white mustang – and drove it into the lake for revenge. Now, Callie is stuck at a reform school while Reed is off at college, living his life without repercussions. Until he comes back. With him comes back all the feelings that Callie has been trying to bury: anger and heartbreak. But most of all, desire. At the sight of his beautiful but lying lips and his gunmetal gray eyes that still taunt and smolder when he looks at her. Whatever though. It’s not as if Callie is ever going to fall for her ex-boyfriend again. Or let him corner her in a bar one night and touch her, kiss her… Neither is she going to kiss him back. Or worse, sleep with him. Because that would make her naïve and foolish. Oh, and also pregnant. And there’s no way Callie is ever going to get pregnant at eighteen and with Reed’s baby, no less. The guy she hates. The guy who taught her all about heartbreak. Who might look like a gorgeous hero but really is the villain of her story. NOTE: A standalone novel set in the world of St. Mary's and INCLUDES the prequel, The Wild Mustang & The Dancing Fairy KEYWORDS: Sports romance, forbidden romance, Good girl bad boy romance, bad boy romance, alpha male romance, enemies to lovers romance, college romance, bully romance, angsty romance, opposites attract romance, high school romance, second chance romance, accidental pregnancy romance

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥1/2 💙Accidental Pregnancy 💙Enemies-to-lovers 💙Possessive dirty talking hero/Good girl heroine 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞: "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚." 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧: "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨." A Gorgeous Villain is the second book in the St. Mary’s Rebels series by Saffron A. Kent. This book follows Callie and Reed. If you have read 𝐌𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, you have definitely heard a bit of Callie and Reed’s history. If not, I highly recommend you read 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 which is the prequel to AGV! Their meeting is unforgettable and will have you hooked and craving more. I loved Salem and Arrow in MDA and I didn’t think that any couple would dethrone them but 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐀𝐊 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞. The chemistry between them was 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 and their relationship throughout this book had me like 😏😭🥵🥰. The angst was *𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐟𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬* and don’t get me started about the dirty talking. 𝐌𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. Reed knows just how to push Callie’s buttons to get her hot and bothered. Honestly, it had me hot and bothered too and I can’t even blame Callie for wanting him. There are so many things to love about this book, but I think what I loved the most about this book was Callie’s loyalty and acceptance of Reed and Reed’s protectiveness of Callie and baby Halo. Callie’s loyalty to Reed was unwavering and she was willing to sacrifice many things to keep Reed in her life and in Halo’s future. Can I just say that I was not expecting the baby’s name to be Halo, but omg it is so fitting and I actually love it for CallieReed’s baby. I definitely saw some growth in Callie from TWM&TDF, which is exactly what I hoped for and SAK delivered. Callie went from being a little innocent naive girl to an emotionally strong soon-to-be- mother who knew exactly what she wanted in her and Halo’s future. She was not afraid to sacrifice her own happiness for her Halo’s and that’s how I knew that she was going to be an amazing mother. Another thing that I loved was how enlightened Callie became towards the end of the book when she recognized Reed’s true feelings for her. She kept her discovery to herself and gave Reed the time to recognize his own feelings which I thought was so sweet. There is nothing better than having your feelings reciprocated and validated and my heart swelled for Callie when she discovered Reed’s love for her and Halo. Reed’s protectiveness of Callie and baby Halo had my stomach in a fit all day. From the dirty talking to his possessive actions, Reed was giving me butterflies in my stomach and below. Reed fit the possessive dirty talking alpha hero to a T. Since he laid eyes on Callie, Reed knew that she was his. Although he was thoroughly convinced that he was incapable of love, it was an incredible journey to read about his growth into his feelings and learning to love Callie and Halo. If there’s one thing I’m a sucker for, it's the “I hate everyone but you” trope and CallieReed is absolutely serving us that. Overall, the growth that they both showed throughout the book was fantastic and well executed and it left me feeling happy and satisfied at the end. Don’t even get me started about the other characters in the book. I loved the Thorne brothers and Tempest. I especially loved the St. Mary’s girl gang. I am so excited to finally explore Wyn and Poe’s stories and it was so nice to catch up with Arrow and Salem. All these relationships in this book totally left me greedy for more and I can hardly wait to see what Saffron A. Kent comes up with next. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐲𝐧'𝐬 story is coming in December and I already know it is going to 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲 𝐦𝐞. 😭 A Gorgeous Villain is available now on Kindle Unlimited. Go pick it up and read it, I guarantee you it's gonna have you feeling ways! ARC provided in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Give me Books, Wildfire Marketing, and Saffron A. Kent. Please go and listen to favorite crime by Olivia Rodrigo when reading AGV. I am officially declaring it the CallieReed anthem. Like I cannot explain how many times I’ve listened to this song and thought omg this is CallieReed to a T!

Ahora NECESITO EL LIBRO DE WYN Y CONRAD🥺

As soon as I opened AGV I was instantly swept right into Callie’s world. Saffron is so good at what she does, with her poetic vibes and her knack for killer inner monologue. It’s special and you feel it from the first page. I don’t normally enjoy pregnancy plots much and it’s often hard for me to really connect, I’m just not naturally maternal, but I had zero difficulty with this one. Reed is one cold bastard, he knows how to lock down his emotions so easily, so young. You want to hate him but you simply can’t. You know he’s acting out not because he solely wants to, he just 100% can not deal with love. Time and time again he shows it through actions, even in his time of bitterness it’s still coming from a place of love. Impossibly intense, possessive, dirty talks like it’s his JOB! Reed is truly a gorgeous villain that lives up to his rep and more. Oh I loved Callie so hard. She is just pure light laced with iron. I enjoyed being in her head the most which is strange for me because I usually tend to connect with the hero deeper than the heroine. Not this time. Her thoughts are so poignantly written and raw. Every flutter she felt, I did too. Every stab from Reed’s wicked ways I gulped in air too. And every time she experienced joy it resinated through me too. Teenage pregnancy is not an easy topic. Saffron handled it with such grace, that mixed with her signature poetic style allows her words to sinks into your soul. Her characters invade your being as you read, incapsulating both your mind and body. This book was thoughtful, hard hitting, heart warming and delightful all in one. You grow with Callie and Reed as the plot unfolds leaving you with so much more than just a romance but a whole coming of age. I finished this book with such a full heart and the feeling of contentment you only get from a fabulously written story.
