On the Incarnation

Excellent and encouraging work. Amazing section on the ad extra. Great illustrations (though might confuse someone unlearned about modalism), and entertaining apologetic. Like many saints long ago, Athinasius’ fascination of higher things is an inspiration.

The Alexandrian Bishop's emphases on the corruptibility of humanity and the incorruptibility of the Word; participation in the Word; and death as the ultimate enemy were deeply refreshing. C. S Lewis called this a masterpiece, and I don't think that's an overstatement. Few books have been as influential!
