Gustavo Sainz Postmodernism in the Mexican Novel
Fernandez (Spanish, Occidental College) primarily examines Sainz's first four novels to understand why his works constitute exemplary and representative postmodern texts. He studies the structure and language of the novels as well as their major themes. He also contrasts Sainz's narratives with those written by other Latin American writers.
