3.5 it was a bit underwhelming,,, i guess i mean at least at the first few chapters and the epilogue,,, maybe i kinda expected a lot from them bc they sound great as characters and their banter in the previous books were amazing and in here,,, not so great i guess thank goodness as the story progresses, it got better,,, the pov changed wc i kinda need to adjust to,,, i wished that the series should have a consistent pov but yeah it changed here so it felt less,,, personal i guess..? 

i felt that there was something lacking in terms with their relationship,,, boss-assistant relationship, them being friends,,, i wished there were more moments in showing how their relationship works i guess and when something happened,,, it’s basically just hooking up,,, i felt that lacking the getting-to-know-much-better-because-we-love-each-other-and-knowing-things-about-you-makes-me-love-you-more that sorta thing,,,

i also felt that the conflict kinda was dragged..? 

i didnt like how kate groveled to win back kennedy like im not really a fan when girls do that 
 :(( dont mind me it’s a me thing,,, i was like “noooo kate nooo dont do that u deserve to be swept off of ur feet not the other way around,,, uve been pining for him for years at (i mean i guess in a self-aware kinda way) at least let him do something for u???? maybe???” (referring to the last chapter) but ig do what makes u happy i guess? 💁🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

4.5 stars. OHHHH THIS WAS SO GOOD!! i was so excited for kate and kennedy’s story since the first book and i’m glad it didn’t disappoint. the angst was just the perfect amount and the development of their relationship was amazing, loved this book!
