** spoiler alert ** Cute Story, lazy conclusion. Almost every character in this book has my whole heart, the author also did a good job setting up for the next book, but the rushed conclusion was the only thing that had me wishing for more even after the HEA. I feel like the setup to him going to Paris was great but when he actually got there everything fell flat and it read like he was acting happy about an accidental pregnancy, I hate that we didn’t get to see Bailey experience and realize the work gage put in on his doubts and insecurities, especially when we got to see the scene with Helen which as a product of a similar situation I found exceedingly less relevant to their lives. Obviously the papers were relevant but the fact that we got to see another character experience Helen’s growth will never feel as needed as Bailey getting to realize and talk about gage’s growth. The ending felt like the reversed procedure took all the pressure off him to make the decision, when the whole reason she left was because he was afraid of committing to the decision to have kids in the first place. All in all it was a really cute story, with really lovable character, that deserved better than the rushed conclusion that they got.

5 Stars ★★★★★ HI BOOKLOVERS, Samantha Whiskey is just boom! I love this. Highly Recommended! :) xoxo. Kath!

i think i liked this book but honestly i don’t really remember much about it. it took me reading the rest of the series to even realise what the mmc of this book job was

Thumbs Up ... New to me author that I plan to read more of in the future. Combines sports (hockey) with romance along with some of my favorite tropes and the pages just flew by.

Single dad, childhood best friends turned lovers, sports romance with a splash of falling in love with the nanny. This crammed slot of tropes into one book and somehow it honestly worked for me. Shocking. I know. Head absolutely empty, no thoughts. Just enjoyed this one for what it was, a fun angsty romp.

Cute single dad romance. She's his nanny but also a childhood friend.

Another fluff piece, but fun
