Take an English player and a Scot who hates being in the limelight - opposites attract have nothing on Theo and Sarah!
Theo is well known screenwriter, director and playboy. His family is aristocratic but he'd rather now acknowledge them. He lives for the now - the future can take care of itself.
Sarah is a housekeeper at Ardnoch Castle, But she has a secret that none of her colleagues knows about. She is a Crime Fiction author - one who is being courted to turn her books into a series on TV. But when she asks for Theo's help to adapt her books, being forced to work in close confines with him is leading to all kinds of feelings!
These two are completely adorable! They are both vulnerable in their own ways. They have baggage but their relationship isn't perfect. They can work together, laugh together and even sleep together. But can they stay together?
Theo is just this side of the confident/jerk divide but his sarcastic humour makes him so much more approachable and likeable. Sarah has trust in her work, literary and at the hotel, but watching her trust in her feelings was really emotional.
As usual we get to have some moments with characters from the earlier books and even a wee glimpse of our next MC's!
