Okay, so I was not crazy about this memoir though I believe "The Three Doctors" have a great and interesting story to tell. My biggest gripe with this is how it was written- the third person point of view perspective made all the events feel inauthentic and stilted as opposed to empathetic and proud when each of the doctors failed or succeeded throughout the events of this book. I feel as if first person would have worked better because it would have allowed their story to have the much-needed reflection and awareness that would have helped me connect with "The Three Doctors" journey. The "Conversations With [insert Doctor]" made this book much slower for me because they often recount events from the chapter on a single page which is the only time they are reflective, aware, and holding themselves accountable. 
 Above all, "The Three Doctors" have an inspiring story to tell and it is their story so they can tell it as they want- but it just did not connect with me like I hoped it would.
