creepy

I have quite mixed opinions on this book.
I found that some of this book (mostly the middle) was quite plain and forgettable and seemed like it was just riding on the fame of the first book, Asylum, which I really enjoyed. On the other hand, I enjoyed the beginning and loved the dramatic ending!
The ending seemed so impeccable, that I can’t possibly imagine what the third book could be about. Hopefully it will be a sublime ending to the series and fulfil the standards I have for the first and second book.

Second Read 1-5/4-18: Funny how your Reading taste can change so much. Last time I Read it I LOVED it. This time, not so much. It was just okay. First Read 19-21/12-15

Interesting story, but not really all that scary.

😭😳WTF JUST HAPPENED! I guess I won't be able to sleep for a few days! The pictures chosen for this book are frightening. So many creepy loopholes and creepy scenes. This is one sinister book😱❤️

3.5 I actually enjoyed this one more than book 1. The characters felt more fleshed out and the creep factor was bumped up a HUGE notch. I also like where the plot went. Like there was some serious creepy shit happening this time around and I'm interested to see how everything ends up in the final book. Cover 3; Characters 4; plot 3; pace 4; writing 3; enjoyment 4.

To control the now is a simple thing, but to control the future? That is worth striving for.
