Each Sunday, since the death of their father, the two daughters , Lauren and Kate, and their families go to their mother’s house for lunch. One day, a woman shows up and says she is their sister, and from then on it is clear , this family has many secrets. As more and more secrets are revealed, the family unit unravels more and more.

The story is told by two points of view, Lauren’s and Kate’s . At the beginning of the book, they resent each other and by the end a true sisterhood has formed. 

I have not read anything else from this author, but will make point of doing so now. 

I enjoyed this read and would highly recommend it.
