I was looking for a light beach read and that’s exactly what I found in this book. Intergenerational friendship between women, bonding over past tragedies and quilting, history, love, appreciation for nature, and compassion— all good stuff. A pleasant, unchallenging read, albeit with a pretty predictable ending.
