Angels, Demons, and Designer Shoes
Reviews

Angles, Demond, and Designer Shoes is a short fun read. It is about a girl who gets saved by a demon when she is in danger of falling off a cliff while trying to do a cover photoshoot for a novel written by her friend. The demon grants her 3 wishes in exchange for her soul which she owes him for saving her life. The story is all about the hilarity that ensues when she tried to evade him and buy more time. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Annelise Rennie and Alan Adelberg. They really brought out the characters and I know for sure some of the banter which I would generally be reading sounded way more fun while being spoken by the narrators. I wished the story was a little bit longer and involved more characters. It would have been fun to see her friends reacting to a demon. Overall it was good entertainment while doing mundane household chores. Readometer rating - 2.5*/5

Angels, Demons, and Designer Shoes by Sandra Sookoo was a very quick listen. It starts off by Anne on a runaway horse headed to hear potential death. Her pleas for help are answered by a demon, Gregg, all he requires is her soul for his boss. The sparks between the two are recognizable. Overall it was a little on the corny side and just alright. I would have loved a little more character and story development. I enjoyed the narrators for this audiobook. There is one narrator for the male character and the rest is done by the female narrator. I feel this always helps make audiobooks easier to follow. Thank you, NetGalley for a copy of the audiobook. All opinions are my own.
