I loved this book so hard! I finished it in one day! I love the SPC series and Sara cate! This book was so amazing I think it’s my second favorite in the series, right after give me more. I loved every single detail about this book! There was so much tension! I’m sad it’s over but now I get to read Madame!

I loved both Daisy and Ronan from the moment we meet them. They’re very different characters but I think that makes them just that more exciting, I love how well kink is portrayed in the book & grief as well.

i read this in one sitting because it just pulled me right in. i absolutely loved how ronan was just so caring! the connection between him and daisy was stronger than anything. i loved this more than i ever expected. it was an immediate 5 stars. her writing style gets me every time, i’m always immediately hooked. i never knew a romance series about a sex club would make me feel so comforting & seen, but hey here i am! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ronan Kade, ladies and gents! I've been so eager for his story since we officially meet him in the previous books. He's a character who's gone through loss, as well as taken advantage of. Because of this, he's always hesitant when it comes to dating. When he meets Daisy and notices she needs help, he takes her under his wing and provides a home for her. Soon, 

they begin an endearing friendship, while also toeing the line of something more

What I don’t understand is why I suddenly turn into a version of myself I don’t recognize where she is concerned.

I loved their slow progression from acquaintances to friends to lovers.

 Their romance felt so natural and heart-warming, something I wasn't expecting from this SPC series. Out of all of the books, this one touches more on the emotional aspects of the characters and the romance, which I genuinely loved! It gives a different side to Ronan that I didn't know he had. 

I expected him to be kind of grumpy and closed-off, but he's actually incredibly sweet, giving, down-to-earth, and a cinnamon roll at heart.

Both Ronan and Daisy have gone through loss that unites them in their shared experiences. While Daisy is years younger than Ronan, because of what she's been through, she gets him on a level that not many women do. Pair that with Daisy's sweet persona, and you have a beautiful romance of two souls trying to find the light and move forward with their lives.

The number of years a person has lived seems like such a trivial detail when you find someone who lights a spark in your soul and makes life worth living again.

Let's dive into the daddy kink. While I read books with this kink, it's not my favorite, mostly because it always feels forced. I should haven't doubted Sara Cate, because she did 

a wonderful job of including this kink in a way that felt natural and fitting for the characters. It wasn't thrown in there for the sake of it or because he's a silver fox.

 It just fit the characters so well! It got to the point that I was eager to see it come up, because you could tell the way Daisy would use it wasn't in a sexual way, but rather coming from a place of love. 

This is the very FIRST book I read where I love this kink, and it's done well.

A good Dom doesn’t lose control. I shouldn’t be letting her make demands like this when she’s supposed to be the submissive one, but I’m a weak man where she is concerned.

The spice was so good! There's even a scene with another character we love from this series that had me speechless! I couldn't get enough of it! The only thing, and it's why this isn't a 5-star read for me, is the disconnect from the other books in the series. This book felt like a stand-alone that isn't part of the SPC series. While the other books are so focused on their kink and it's very smutty, this one isn't. And that isn't a bad thing at all! But when you have expectations of this book following along the same lines as its predecessors, it's disappointing to see this one fall short in that department. I expected a lot more from Ronan Kade, considering he is THE RONAN KADE 

 is an entertaining and emotional story of two characters the reader will love so much. It's been over a week since I finished this book, and I still think of Ronan and Daisy.

Daisy is great, but this book-I was all about Ronan. My heart broke for him in the prologue and then again closer to the end of the book. This man has a heart of gold and deserves to be loved. When he was upset, I was upset. I feel so much for him. Get ready for this Silver Fox, I thought I wand, and I so wasn't! 

Now I have to talk about these RULES. Ma'am!
Rule#4 You can't kidnap young women living in their vans-even with good intentions.
Rule#11 If you can't sleep in your bed, try his.
Rule#14 Play with fire, and you'll get burned.
Rule#30 Give her O's at work. If she gets fired, it'll be worth it.

This one is just so wonderful and I loved every single moment. I really adored the way that this one was written, and what the author used to develop this story. I will say that this one is a tie with Praise and I might even love it more than even the first one. And I really really enjoyed the first one the most out of this series. But there was something in this story that just seemed to work so well for me. But I will say that Sara Cate is such a talented author, she just writes the best stories and they are always so well fleshed out and I can guarantee that you will fall fast for this one here.

Highest Bidder is a story that I immediately was drawn into. First off it had one of my favorite themes in a book which is a "auction". There is something about starting off a story or even just having this element in a book that just really will pull me in right away. I just love everything about it. There is also something so sexy about this book. The hero of course, is rich and really really WEALTHY haha but he also works hard for it. Then we have our heroine, who is a poor waitress and living in her van. Now part of this is her choice, but you also see how when she meets our hero, how she begins to reevaluate life choices. What I really loved is how endearing these two are with each other. They have a connection to each other that is so explosive and even though they have some great chemistry, it takes time before anything really happens with them. The way that the author builds up their chemistry was superb in every way. We also see some great exploration of BDSM, but its lighter. Its not like some of the other books. But there are some light aspects to healing for it as well which I really loved seeing. We also see much more of "Madame" and I am really excited for her book. I have such high hopes for it. I do sometimes get nervous with dominatrix characters, but I trust Sara Cate to handle her correctly. I just want her to find love, she really deserves to find that happiness that all of her friends have found!

Now as to the secret of the heroine. This is dragged out, just warning you, and yeah it doesn't come out cleanly, but you know, the way that Sara Cate wrote it, just ended up working for me.

I found Highest Bidder to be a spectacular read that just won my heart immediately. Its a story of trust, recovery, and captivating on one's heart!

Well, I freaking devoured this book in one sitting. The whole series is just so good. There was some lack of communication that frustrated me but other than that it was sexy and fun and sweet. Age gap, BDSM, and returning to the Salacious Club and Eden St. Claire, it’s all so good. Daddy Ronan is the best(never thought I’d be so into a daddy kink in a book but here we are…)
