I peel my mouth away from hers and look down at her thoroughly kissed face. Her lips are red and swollen, and her eyelids slowly flutter open until my favorite color of green pierces me.

And then, like magic, June leans her head on my shoulder. Honestly, I’m afraid to move. She’s an exotic bird that has just landed on me, and if I shift even an inch, she’ll fly away.

Her emerald stare is fixed on my face as I start gently wiping away the marks I left. I want to wipe away the ones I can’t see below her skin too.

I’m standing in front of him now. “I will.”

“Because I want a healthy relationship with you, June. I won’t keep chasing you every time you run or slam a door in my face. Eventually, you’re going to have to show me that you’re willing to fight for us, too.”

“If you had looked closer, you would have seen that the Ryan from tonight is miserable. He’s lonely. He rarely smiles. He hates his job and has wanted out for a long time but never saw a way. You opened my eyes, June, and I see with perfect clarity that I want you. A life with you and all the craziness we are together.”

I love it. But is it just me or I feel like the ending is a but rushed?

i loved the first 100 pages of this book, it's so funny but then they got together and got chicago and then i was done. i was constantly saying "finished it off already". They didn't really hate each other, specially Ryan because he was the sweetest but sometimes annoying, June was pretty focus on what Ryan did to her in the past so he hated him. I loved Stacy and Logan. Specially When logan is Drunk.

although enemies-to-lovers trope, couldn't really get the enemies vibes. it was just at the beginning and just one-sided, but at the same time, it was realistic how the intentions were clear right from the start. that was way better than waiting for the two characters to step back and express themselves.

it was sweet and touching at times, and the chemistry was so good that i wanted something more to feel satisfied, and maybe I'm left with the feeling that i didn't get to enjoy them as much as i'd wanted. but it's a closed-door romance so maybe that's why, lol.

apart from that, it was very nice and light but at the same time empowering with how June overcame some of her fears and insecurities and Ryan was exactly what she needed and deserved. i liked their few references from their past and if we had more i feel i'd be even happier about it.

it was too good and maybe i just needed to be more in-depth in their lives to feel satisfied.

I'm overall super happy with the time i spent reading it. she writes in such a vivid way that you always know you're about to have a good time reading her books!

You guys seriously need to read this. It's HILARIOUS!! I was laughing so hard until I cry. I have never read anything from Sarah Adams it was my first time but to be honest I love it and I really enjoy reading it. It was something I love about Enemy to Lover Romance because I know there’s also a rom-com in there. 

I’m going to look forward to read more from Sarah.
 
I’m not going to spoil this review but you guys really need to read this.

Enemies to lovers is just unmatched 
Well more like one sided enemies but whatever 
That was Absoutely so cute loved the book 
Ryan was perfect and I loved the mc

Sarah Adams has me in a chokehold. I'm always guaranteed a good time when I read her books. Her writing is always light and fun and the perfect pick-me-up. I loved June and Ryan together. They had such a playful, teasing banter that I couldn't get enough of. I wouldn't say their dynamic was hate-to-love, but more like annoyed-to-love. They had great chemistry, and I was smiling the entire time. June had a lot of insecurities from her past relationship, and it was so sweet how caring and understanding Ryan was towards her. He made her feel safe and cherished while also pushing her buttons. There were a few little miscommunication moments, especially towards the end, and those are never my favorite, but I liked how everything wrapped up. Now, I've read all but one of her books and can say without a doubt that she's one of my favorite contemporary authors, and I can't recommend her enough.

A good short and sweet romance read. It had a cute storyline of enemies to lovers and was more mature in characters then books I usually read which was quite refreshing for characters to be closer to my age. It was definitely missing moments to make it a GREAT book. It was a solid enough ending but needed more content and/drama to the storyline.

This was a quick, easy read (and I actually READ it instead of listened to it). It was recommended as a book that people would like of they liked “The Hating Game.” Of course there is no comparison. I liked that the conflict part of the story was short-lived; I really appreciated that. The writing style reminded me of a book I read called “Stuffed”- it felt like someone’s journal or inner voice more than something an author would write. This was waaaaaay better than that book. But the ending- really? They’re doing that stuff?! It wasn’t terrible but I didn’t love it.
