didn’t love it… didn’t hate it… it was just kind of meh for me. honestly this felt more like a filler novella than a necessary installment in the series. nothing really mind-blowing happened and there wasn’t much that stuck with me after finishing it.

rhys spent like 90% of the book acting like a horny 16-year-old teenage boy, nesta is angry at literally everyone and everything, and the plot itself just kind of… exists.

 enjoy seeing elain finally start to show a little more personality because for a while she felt like wallpaper, so that was a nice change. but overall, this book just felt unnecessary. not terrible, not amazing… just there.

loved the audiobook, DEFINITELY want a physical copy. THE WHOLESOME MOMENTS ❤️❤️

The only reason I am giving this book 4 stars is because I absolutely adore Rhys and Feyre and I'm really glad that the book ended on a happy note. Although it was definitely the least exciting/suspenseful of all the books in the series, I feel like it was a well deserved ending for all of the characters. That being said, if I were to judge this book in isolation, I'd probably give it 3 stars, as there was no real plot or climax to the story, and it kind of felt like the author was trying to squeeze out one more book in the series just for the sake of doing so. I loved the switch off between Feyre and Rhys's POV though, and I saw the child storyline coming but it made me so happy and emotional nonetheless.
