thank you to netgalley for this e-arc in exchange with honest review. i gave this 3.5 stars. this one is a little bit disappointing and not good as the first one. i was so surprised to see the author announce the sequel for Josh and Gemma Make A Baby. i love the first book so so much like josh and gemma literally have a special place in my heart. okay no i won’t say it was necessary to write the sequel but i love how the author wants to highlight more on gemma’s story. i really wish this book more focus on josh and gemma rather than ian. and also the pacing and the plot in here are a little bit draggy. this book is still heavy and serious because of the struggles of josh and gemma’s trouble with the inability to feel. i still got the overwhelming feeling when read this book. so overall i enjoyed this book but at the same time i’m sad that it didn’t reach my expectations.

I adored the first book (Josh & Gemma Make A Baby), this one, not quite as much. I was so excited to see that there was a sequel since the first was one of my fave reads of the year. I definitely didn't love the direction this took, it felt like everything I read in the first book was a waste of time. There was no chemistry, it just fell kind of flat. I'm not sure why, but my ARC copy had chapters that were just a single picture and a quote. Not sure if that's an error or on purpose, either way it was odd. I received this ARC copy via Netgalley. This is my honest review.
