Sarah Ready's books are always amazing and this is no exception! Emma and Andrew were meant to be from the start and their journey included loving each other to losing each other and then feelings of yearning, revenge and finally finding each other again.

Egads! Andrew and Emma were adorable when they were teenagers, but as adults they're HAWT! You can't help but have a lump in your throat when you realise just what Andrew has been through and how he survived. Emma may have seemed to have a wealthy, easy life (and compared to some she may have) but she had pressures added to her young shoulders by her father, who will never, ever win Dad of the year! Once they found each other again, Andrew's plans for revenge unravel and he's not quite sure what to do with these reignited feelings. Untangling all the miscommunications, duplicitous deals and questionable parental decisions was a real head-twister. I loved meeting Dom and Justin, they were really great secondary but important characters. They both anchored Emma and Andrew when they needed it. My nerdy, history-loving little heart loved all the archaeology. My only quibble was that Daddy Dearest got off way too easily!
