Romance By The Book
Reviews

Our third outing to Romeo and the inhabitants just get cookier...and cuter! Jessie loves Romeo. She loves the romance, the love that is steeped in the town and she also loves Gavin. Sure, she's never really got to know him, just worshipped from afar but when Ms. Erma drops veiled hints to her soul mate Jessie takes 2 + 2 and makes 93! Jessie, armed with a lifelong obsession with reading and romance, will use her arsenal to ensure that she and Gavin will have their meet-cute. Only 2 slight wrinkles in that plan. 1 - Gavin is apparently getting married to someone else. 2 - His twin brother is not about to let Jessie ruin his brothers HEA or their business deal! Take any meet-cute from any RomCom or romance book and Jessie is going to use! Poor Gavin is completely unaware of her simmering obsession. Meanwhile, William is trying to show her that her true soul mate is closer than she thinks. He's a closet romantic at heart - hidden well behind that barky, brusque, business facade. I really got "Sabrina" vibes from this story. A story I loved from the original movie and the remake. I did find Jessie's obsession a tad much 'cos she really was willing to ambush and throw-over Gavin and his fiancee o get "Her" HEA. I really enjoyed every moment in Romeo - even when some well-meaning busybodies got involved and ended up making things...complicated! Loved it, loved it, loved it!
