While I still enjoyed this book, for some reason it took me several days to get through this one. I'm not sure if I just wasn't as big a fan of the characters in this one or if it was the plot, but this one did not draw me in like the first two did. I finally finished it this morning. Hopefully book four will capture my interest a little more.

I liked this one! So far this is my second favorite book in this series (my first favorite is Vipers and Virtuosos). I’m assuming Jonas’s brother will have his own book

Oaths and Omissions is the exact amount of dark and delicious that I love—and I’m full on obsessed with this world Sav has created.

Fake relationship with a hitman? A hitman who also tried to off your father and has been haunting your family ever since? *chef’s kiss* The chemistry is off the charts and I LOVE stories in which the hero is weak for nobody but the heroine. He falls first, y’all! This book brings it in spades and the spicy scenes are fantastic. 

In addition to the romance, Sav always does a fantastic job of creating compelling backstories and larger plots for her characters and this one was great. And of course, you can expect another cast of fascinating side characters (and several Kal + Elena cameos!). I can’t wait for Alistair’s story, those little hints near the end have me intrigued!

Definitely check the content warnings for this whole series, as they are on the darker side of dark, but never fear because there is a great HEA!

Wooo, what a ride and a half. I absolutely loved this couple. Honestly each couple that Sav comes out with is just perfect. 

As someone who had a shit head of a father who manipulated me my whole life and like our girl Lenny, thought we were besties. It’s nice to see that even though I couldnt get my justice, Lenny did, and her dark side truly was comforting for e deep dark part of me. 

Congrats Sav on another hit!!! I can not wait for the next one!

This was by far the best book in the series. 
The characters were so well developed and everything about them just had me interested. 
Jonas is such an icon and I really freaking love Lenny.

This story involved the characters acting as if they're in a fake relationship and are about to get married. Lenny had a harsh past and Jonas has yet to come to terms with his dad's death.
They both deal with their issues in similar manners...violence. We watch the two of them struggle by themselves and with each other but they always find a safe place in each other in the end.

I think this book did much better than the rest of the series in full on honesty. There's something about this book that seemed the most believable and had the characters quite sane for a "dark" romance. One thing I have to hand to the author is that they haven't made the men disgusting who don't value consent. All her books have the guys asking for consent and I think for a dark romance that clearly needs to be stated. Even if that a necessity, more often that not we've seen authors just say that consent isn't dark and then end up writing books that romanticising rape. But this author didn't. 
I actually liked Lenny more than Jonas. But them together was just the best.

THISSS BOOK! sav honestly outdid herself with this one. i loved this story so much. there wasn't a single moment that i was fully immersed and in love with jonas and lenny. i enjoyed every moment in their story that was about them individually, but every moment they spent together was perfection. jonas wolfe was murderous, sexy, and everything i want in a fictional man - to be honest, i would like to have him in real life.

something that i love in a grumpy/sunshine trope in a dark romance is that the sunshine is always has a little bit of darkness in her and the grumpy mc eats it up. i loved the way their ~fake relationship~ was never really fake, even when they swore it was. the connection between these two was electric from the moment they met, and i have not been able to get them off of my mind.

Wowza. This whole series never misses. Compared to her other books, this one is the tamest of them all. But damn still hits me in the kitty and the heart. 

This book follows Lucas (as seen in promises and pomegranates) and Lenny in the classic fake dating trope to escape a family. I found that Sav does really well when the characters are isolated together and we can see the mini aspects between them. It makes it addicting, wanting to see the interactions between the two MCs and waiting to see what happens next. While also still being able to keep you guessing about what is happening outside of the relationship. Sav created a well-balanced plot, compared to the first two books which heavily focused on the relationship between the two MCs this book allows for the more outside plot to come in and side characters to really shine. 

Now let's talk the spice. Compared to the first two, this book was definitely on the lighter side. Yet there was still restraining and dirty talk which definitely hit right. It was also appropriate for dealing with the trauma that the characters go through and exploring their relationship. 

Now the triggering subjects. I think Sav could have resolved some of the issues that were presented throughout the book more in the end. However, I liked how the book wasn't mainly focused on that. It was there and was resolved in the end, maybe in some circumstances too heavily focused on. So those who get triggered I advise looking at the TWs. 

Overall this book was addicting. Like Promises and Pomegranates, I read it within a day and absolutely freaking fell in love with it and want to make it my whole personality. If you wanted to get into the series but don't want to read the darkest book, this is the book out of the series for you.
