Cash&Ariana: I’m about 70% in and there’s a lot of unfinished scenes and interactions that i think are there to build tension but it’s annoying me that things happen and then don’t get discussed. He put a ring on her that will hurt to take off and she never asks him about it and he doesn’t mention it either. Okay finished this book and I figured out the issue, its the pacing and lack of explaining and flat characters so basically the whole book was bad. Cash and ariana liking each other doesn’t make sense coz they barely connect, Cash was so distant and Ariana was desperate for him to like but never did anything and the abuse she suffered didn’t feel like it was addressed either, it was a huge part of why she was the way she was and Cash didn’t know till the epilogue. Overall so underwhelming.

Out of all of the books in this series, this is one of my favorites. I was excited when I learned this was about Cash and Ariana, two characters we were already introduced to. But then their story being a retelling of Eros and Psyche? Say less. 

I think Ariana is one of my favorite girls. There was so much more to her character than I even remembered from the first book when we had snippets of it. What she became was so entertaining and I felt was well-rounded. Cash was entertaining in his own right. I liked his character a lot and I think the two of them play well off each other. 

The side plots did get a little confusing but just focusing on their relationship I really like it.
