The first thing that really intrigued me about this book was the cover and the title, I hadn't even read the synopsis yet and I knew I wanted to read this book based on those two factors. Once I started the book and found out it was about teenagers that can code, I was even more intrigued, coding has always fascinated me and I'm so glad I read this book.

I have never read anything by A.V. Geiger but her writing style was great and kept me hooked throughout this whole book. There were plot twists, romance, and I loved the characters she created. I feel like I connected the most with Nora as I feel we are pretty similar, I'm bad at talking to people and introducing myself and prefer just to spend time by myself, like she did. I loved watching her come out of her shell slowly throughout the book and how caring of a person she was.

I also really loved the setting of this book. Books centered around boarding schools have always been a guilty pleasure of mine and while this wasn't a boarding school, it was similar in characteristics and I loved it. Imaging a sprawling school surrounded by tons and trees and the history behind everything.

The only thing I disliked about this book was the ending, I can't tell if it was a cliffhanger that's going to lead to a sequel or if that's all we got. I'm dying to know what's going to happen between Nora and Maddox so I really, really hope she has another book planned with those characters.

Scared Little Rabbits, for me, is one of those books where you say it was fine but in all honesty there are just a lot of other books that do it better. 

Overall, this was a book that was easy to full into. The writing style was easy, if not entirely engaging. The characters had things to root for and the backdrop of a coding summer camp was a nice backdrop. 

Beyond this though, this book lacked a lot of depth. I never felt any connection with the characters, nor was I ever particularly interested in the mystery element of the story. Sadly, this book just felt quite lackluster.

I also had some gripes with the romance. For one, there was too much. This easily could have been a tween romance with the way cheesy dialogue and very set-up situations throughout the book. 

In the end, this wasn't a book for me.

The whole contempt of this story was really interesting. This group of teenagers created a dating app, which evolved into glasses that could be worn, and through these glasses they could actually interact. It was really cool! My only real "issue" with this book was that it's categorized as a mystery/thriller, and nothing really happened along those lines until the last quarter of the book. I really enjoyed it though, and if you're looking for an entertaining, unique YA read, I would recommend it.
