The only reason I finished this was to review it but I hated this book.

This is honestly the most egregious misrepresentation of Australian culture since Crocodile Dundee and Fosters

I doubt Naomi Booth has ever been to Australia because this was filled with the worst Outback Australia stereotypes and unbelievably forced Aussie dialogue. I don’t even know where to start but I can pick every single page apart.

The way the people speak and behave is completely implausible I’m honestly lost for words.

If you were thinking you’d be reading a book about a disease that seals peoples skin you’d be wrong as that’s barely even part of it.

I’m honestly embarrassed for this book. Booth should have had an Aussie proof read this.

This... was an experience. If you're triggered by horror associated with pregnancy, I'd skip this one. All in all, the premise was fascinating and horrifying, but I didn't just love the execution. That ending though... that ending was something else.
