Love this book so much. Only Lang Leav can write like Lang Leav. Her writings are so uniquely poetic. The kind of writings that will stuck in your head, lingers in your mind and show up in time when everything is silence and all you need is a friend. Good job ❤️

September Love is definitely one of Leav's more strong collections. I found I was not bored while reading and was eager to continue, where as in some of her earlier works, I was getting tired of reading repetitive flowery prose. This collection focuses mostly on self-love and reflection of the self, as well as finding ways to heal after loss of love or connections. 

Fans of Leav's early work will find this is much more evocative and raw than her older poetry.

Yet again, Leav takes her readers on an emotional roller coaster. The poems in this collection range from hopeful to hopeless, from being in love to being alone. Whatever emotion you may be feeling, there's a poem for you to embrace. I flew through this in one sitting because I just didn't want to put it down. There were so many quotes that I felt a connection to and so many lines that I had highlighted. A few of my favorites were "Taking Time", "The End of Love", "Night and Day", "Ten Things" and "Show of Love." If you're a fan of poetry, I'd recommend checking this collection out.

I really loved this collection. It was the perfect combination of melancholy and soft. It had poems that made me reminisce in a way that made me feel validated- it’s okay to miss those that left, you loved them once. It was beautifully put together and I never tire of Lang’s metaphors. Her soft spoken poetry always leaves me part heartbroken and part put back together. A wonderful new addition to Lang’s expanding poetry collection.

Lang Leav does not disappoint with her new book. Her words seem to come natural but, at the same time, are filled with such emotion that can only happen when someone works hard on what they do. And a poet not only understands words, but understands human emotions, their own emotions. And it is not easy to face one's feelings. But the author does it beautifully and across a variety of subjects, all intertwined by love. I didn't connect with every poem or text, but that is just because the human experience is unique to each person. But the poems that I connected with, those are saved in my heart and in my mind for the days I need words of understanding and hope.
