My review for the whole series—

Pros: 
Love the story, characters, relationships, heat. Lots of M/M. Pretty much everything gets followed up on and there aren’t loose threads. Good twists and betrayal. The main character develops and changes a lot throughout the story. 

Cons: 
Some really bad writing and editing. Obviously there are typos and bad grammar but there’s also some very repetitive wording across the books and sometimes within the same paragraph. The word “vermilion” (which by the way is orangey-red and not blood red) is used about a million times throughout the series. Any time there’s a fight you’re gonna hear about some vermilion blood. 
I thought the editing was getting better at about book 3 but it was definitely either me not paying attention or a fluke because 4 and 5 have a lot of problems. 

Despite the annoying editing and spelling and grammar, I liked the story enough to give it 4 stars which is saying something. I’d say if you can handle / overlook the construction, this is definitely worth reading.
