Sweet and simple with a happy ending. The emotions fell a little flat for me, I think it could have used some more pining and more scenes that show their feelings blossoming. They fell in love pretty quickly with very few dates/moments that made it believable.

This was my introduction to BL manga!! I cannot count the number of times I've read this and it still makes me swoon every time. I need more shounen-ai/school life/slice of life manga!

Yuzuru asked Touji out as a half-hearted joke, not expecting to be taken seriously. But, Touji accepted, and Yuzuru knew he was like the rest -- a relationship begun on a Monday, and dumped on the Sunday. What he didn't expect was the feelings that went beyond friendship that emerged. It's now Friday, and the end is approaching. But is it? The exciting conclusion to the popular boy's love manga by Tachibana Venio

Esta es mi culpa, debo admitirlo. O sea, la sinopsis hacía ruido por todos lados, pero pensé que a lo mejor le daban una vuelta de tuerca, o que tendría una ejecución bien lograda, qué sé yo, me nubló el optimismo.
Por un lado tenemos a Toji, un muchacho conocido en el colegio por salir con cualquier chica que lo invite, pero solo durará una semana. Al lunes siguiente empezará a salir con otra chica. Hasta que Yuzuru se anima y lo invita a salir. Y el otro dice ¿por qué no?

El manga está dividido en cada día de la semana, mostrando la interacción entre estos dos chicos, las citas, como se van conociendo, detalles personales de cada uno, etc.
Pero tiene un ritmo tan... raro? Y un despliegue de emociones tan... ciclotímicas? Siento que es un caos de historia, que quiere abarcar más de lo que puede y que termina siendo eso, un desastre.

Eso o yo no terminé de entender el punto de la historia. En fin, la cosa es que no.

I don’t really have much to say about this. I couldn’t get through it in one go like I normally do with BL’s. This was very slow and not in a good way. I could not feel the love between the characters at all and it all felt very rushed. I know this is a classic but I just couldn’t fall in love with it like everyone else. Even the extra bits weren’t decent. The art style and pacing clearly scream early 2010’s and it just didn’t sit well with me. I read this in order to understand the backlash with Date Me Bryson Keller. I hope the “plagiarism” the author is being accused of is false and it’s just a similar trope. I also hope I enjoy it more than this manga.
