Novels are political! They can touch many people, workers and women included.

It's lovely reading about a woman who's so openly herself - she thrust herself headfirst in a misogynistic society, her belief in herself shielded her against the cruelty of the world. She's flowed, but that just makes her human. I enjoyed myself and learned some history reading this, so I assume the book accomplished its goal!

Since it's a graphic novel, and I don't usually read these, at times, it was hard for me to keep up with all the people she met and had in her life, but that's a personal issue.
