           i love! the we-met-in-a-wedding trope so i picked this up,,, anyway

favorite things that i liked in the book:
-hunter was such smooth talking guy yet he’s sincere and sweet and thoughtful and caring not just with nat but with people she loves 
-nat is a behavioral therapist wc was,,, interesting 
-hunter and nat’s meet cute awee
-the funny parts xD 
-stepmom!Nat was such a great side of her
-i liked the izzy and hunter dynamic
-when hunter calls nat ‘sweet pea’ awee
-vi keeland’s heroes (or at least it was the same with the previous book that i finished of hers) prioritize letting let their women eat,,, i mean they’re concerned if they have eaten yet that’s a plus lol 
-in spite of their attraction w each other they’re respectful and mature ab it 
-the eating together in the living room scene and swapping food and smiling to each other !!! so domestic u guys!!!
-“You’re a great mom.” 😩😩🥰 my heaaart 
-anna and derek are so cute u guys esp the bar scene when anna’s talking to nat it made me cry it was so precious :(( 
-i liked the angst with THAT particular scene! Aaaah

-when hunter said **** kinda was a turn off,,, i mean it didn’t bother me but yeah i just don’t like the word
-after hunter tells his secret to nat and after moments later they hooked up,,, i just felt it was rushed idk :// 
-AND wait i wanna what happened when nat was drunk after the party i was like so what really happened ??? i mean i know nothing happened but i still wanna know the whole story

This was good, but it wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be! It was a little too serious, much more than I expected and I wish we got to see more of them actually being a relationship. It felt like as soon as they started kind of being in a relationship, all the drama started to happen and I wish it was a little lighter. It had its fun moments and I really did enjoy the characters but I wanted more from it! I actually ended up skimming the last like 20% because I just wanted to get through it and be done with the drama! Overall, I liked it but it wasn’t my favorite from Vi Keeland!

Once again I’m blown out of the water by this author. I haven’t read all of her books yet, but I’m slowly making my way through her backlist. I swear she has not only some of the best writing, storylines, but the best banter between her characters. Then she always has some way of bringing you into your feels. I loved everything about this book. Definitely going on my list of all time favorites.
