Actual rating: 4.5 stars. ⚠️ Warning: I have a little major problem with books in this series. I just can't write reviews for them. Don't ask me why, I have no idea. My two grey cells just seem to freeze whenever I try to write down how awesome it all is. My advice to you: skip this crappy excuse for a review and read the book instead. You'll be glad you did. Moving on. ♥ I love ALL the female characters in this book. They ALL kick ass in one way or another. YES they do. ♥ I love how gender roles keep getting inverted, bent, seriously kicked in the butt and generally destroyed. Feminism is not dead. Nope nope nope. ♥ I LOVE that the Loveable Macho Gang (Cayan & crew) are finally realizing that their female counterparts are as more badass than as they are. Learning your lesson boys, aren't you now? Hahaha. ♥ I love the way ALL the characters in this series are constantly evolving. They all feel real. And they're all very cool. And YES I love them ALL. ♥ I love that the romance isn't stupid-silly-ridiculous lovey-dovey stuff and that it actually adds something to the story. YES YES YES. ♥ I love the non-stop action. And the very cool fights. And the most excellent mental warfare. And the awesome yay-gore factor. And the delightfully affectionate deadly pets. ♥♥♥♥ HELL YES I LOVE IT ALL ♥♥♥♥ ➽ This series is nothing short of slightly amazing. And the first instalment is only 99 cents right now. You'd be stupid silly not to give it a try. Cayan and his men have learned their lesson hahaha. ④ There is a bit more oh my god I'm going to be sick romance in this instalment but my allergy didn't kick in. That's how much I love this series. ⑤ Blood, gore, battles, fights, mental warfare, poison and beasts. Hell yeah. ➽ And the other moral of this series is: Crappy review to come. Maybe.
