This book was... an adventure 
Full disclosure, I started this book because of the spice and it was fine but there was just so much else going on. There is an entire web of plotlines and timelines and changing identity and fake deaths and real deaths and trauma and I couldn't explain the actual plot if I tried. There were many parts where I was entertained simply because I had no idea what was going on but I couldn't not find out what happened next.

Look i didnt hate the first 25%, of the book it was actually fun to read and at that point I probably would have given it a 3,5 star rating. But the book didn't end there so I couldn't give it that rating.

Now I'm gonna explain why the book was mid. 
* The flashbacks at the end of the book were so confusing, at some point I just skimmed them and when I did try to read them we were introduced to 7 new characters. A bit to fast for the slow beginning of the book.
* The romance of JR and Jae was a bit confusing
* the time-line of the book was so fucking confusing just wtf.
* smut was ok so that's a plus point ig

anyways 2,5 just cause it wasn't worth the 3 stars but it was also not that bad that I'd give it a 2 star rating.
