well i read this bc i missed the l.o.r.d.s universe but this was a like a rollercoaster bc damm- colton and raylee are so explosive just like their relationship, they make the perfect match. i loved raylee sm - "Raylee Lexington Adams isn't one of them. So hot!! Tabboo dark romance. So happy to be back in Barrington University world. These new characters are fun and So very very hot. Getting a snippet of two of the characters from The Ritual was swoon. Ryat still hot!! This stepbrother tabboo romance is fast paced. Ray is a character that you love from the beginning. Colt I wanted to stab..till I didn't. He had a good growth and a believable arc to redemption.

I really wanted to love this... unfortunately this just didn't do it for me. I'll start by saying the smut is GREAT. If heavy degradation is your thing.. you will enjoy this. For me where this went wrong was the plot. It's non-existent. And the small bit of plot there is just doesn't make much sense to me. I'm still unclear as to how and why Colt and his friends are involved with the Lords. Also the blink-and-you'll-miss-it transition from hate to love was jarring. TLDR - this could have been shorter, and just been a smutty novella. Then I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
