I love Sharon Sala and I liked the book, but didn’t love it. The story and main characters were good, but there were far too many side characters that didn’t really serve the plot or further the mystery in any way. They were just there, living there lives, and it took me out of the main story for the most part. I can also accept a level of love at first sight, but there were times it veered into a bit too much. Overall, the story is good and I think three stars is decent.
thank you to Netgalley for the ARC
