The Killing Spell

Kea Petrova is in serious trouble. For years, she’s been quietly leading her clan on the Homestead in outer Los Angeles - home to Hawai’i’s population after an apocalyptic flood - and scraping by selling her own crafted Hawaiian-language spells. But then Angelo Reyes, a prominent Filipino activist, is found murdered by a death spell that can only exist in Hawaiian. Kea quickly becomes the prime suspect, and to clear her name, she must find Angelo’s killer - pitting her against some of LA’s most powerful and dangerous players.
