This fanfic dug its way into my heart, tore it into pieces, stitched it back together, and then effectively tore it into pieces again. That's it. I love this fic with my whole being.

By far one of the best fanfictions I've ever read. If you find yourself uncomfortable at the idea of teenage Hermione and middle-aged Sirius paired together, don't worry-it's not what you think.

Okay Ill admit that I did love this book when I first read it at 16/17 years old. I still do enjoy this book a lot but never realised how many problematic things occur without any warnings. I luckily was untriggered by these events but I know many people will not be. This is just a warning before reading that there is a lot going on in this book that can be triggering for some and if this is a possibility, to read the worse reviews to find out some of the warnings that can apply.

That being said, I did enjoy it and hold a lot of nostalgia for when I read it. I do reread it which is why it isn't being rated lower.
