Erin Amsel will never be my favourite, but she was pretty damn kick ass in this book. 

Erin is the annoying Crow. And annoy she does. Like a lot. And she might possibly be crazy, there's nothing confirmed on that front, though. She lives to aggravate and I don't think she even knows why she does it. I think she just likes to be a bit of a dick. It sucks for her that she ends up being at the centre of the end of the world and she has to try and help stop it along with her Crow sisters. It wasn't what she wanted, but she couldn't not help her sisters and she definitely wasn't ready for the end fo the world.

I hadn't expected to like the romance between her and Stieg. The two of them weren't who I'd put together but the back and forth arguments between the two of them had me laughing. I couldn't get enough of them and their bickering like an old married couple. They wound each other up like nobodies business but that totally translated into some solid chemistry between the couple and I enjoyed that.

I liked seeing the conclusion of this three-book arc. I won't spoil anything but it was wrapped up so very well and in a way which totally fitted this series. I was on the edge of my seat (as much as you can be when you're lay on a bed reading, anyway). 

And my only complaint? Why the hell aren't there more books in this series? Laurenston has definitely left it open for more to be added but don't let that grumble put you off. The main story that has developed throughout the three books is wrapped up perfectly, but there are still plenty of characters we have yet to explore and there are some threads left open for us to continue this series on. Now I just need a date for the next book to be released.

Kelly Casey

I didn't think I would like this one much because of Erin's personality, but it was enjoyable. The romance wasn't my favorite, but the plot and comedy made up for it. This book is the conclusion to the ongoing fight with the goddess Gullveig. It includes a quest in the nine worlds which was super cool considering most of the series is usually set in L.A.. We were introduced to all kinds of new creatures, and the fight scenes were just as good as usual. It was just really wonderful. Stopping Ragnarok and subsequently all of the end of days for all religions was a big deal and it made for a great book. I think the author eventually plans to write more of this series, but for now it seems mostly concluded except for the Loki plot setup. She hasn't written a new book in this series for 4 years so I'm going to say that I successfully finished the series (for now). I would recommend taking a little bit of time in between each book rather than binge reading them though. I binged the first 2 and I was getting kind of apathetic. I took a couple days before reading the third book, and that made the experience much better.
