Rereading the series from the beginning with the Menyons Book Club. I like this story, even if it's not a true DH novel. Julian and Grace have set the corners stone for what the series would become, as well as giving us glimpses of the world she would build.

I thought I was never going to read something like this, but here I am, my friends. I enjoyed this book SO SO SO SO much that I must admit that is my guilty pleasure. One friend recommended me this series and I was like "hm, perhaps I will read it someday" and when she borrowed me the books (she still borrowing me some books, lol) and I started Fantasy Lover, I was screaming. I said to myself "what the hell are you doing, Ale?" I truly enjoyed this book. I love Julian so much, he's a baby and I need to protect him. Tho I wasn't convinced at all, I would def re read it to remember many things, lol.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I did have some problems with it, but it was fun and cute. I thought some of the conflicts were resolved a little too quickly, and things were just a hair too easy or too coincidentally perfect. But it's a fun paranormal romance.

I love Greek mythology but that wasn't enough to make me like this book. I struggled through the first two chapters and ended up skipping every few pages to see if it got any better (it just got more ridiculous). Lesson learned - I'll go to the library before buying any of her other books.

EDIT: I did find a way to enjoy the book. Read it out loud with a good friend. Kept us endlessly entertained at the airport when our flight was delayed and when we were bored/couldn't sleep at our hostel. I had to give it one more star simply for the "so bad it's actually awesome" factor.
