I got a little bit behind on this series. I read the first one Unlovable a few weeks after it came out and of course fell in love with Maggie and Seth. It took me a while to find out more about this author and when I found her, I learned she had two more out!

Onto the actual review...

I had been wondering about Booker when I read Unlovable. He was one of those characters that I couldn't wait to read about. Intrigue, mystery and hilarity made me want his story even more!

Booker is one of those characters. You know, the one always around to help and give advice but offer a reprieve in silly teasing. He's brave, strong and will fight anybody who even steps threateningly to one of his friends. Plus, he's hot. *Shrugs none apologetically*

We learn more about his past and although we hear about in both books, its told with more clarity in this one (duh!). I have to say, his is a pretty good story but I felt for Tess even more.

Poor, poor girl. We learn in the second book that she faints at the site of blood. Well, in this book, we figure out its all for a good reason. Her past was saddening. I've read a lot of books with this kind of situation-all hard to read about-and find each one different despite the similarities. I don't want to give too much away!

I loved the back and forth we get from Tess. We see her past and her present and how she's changing, growing as she relaxes around her new friends.

I also loved how we saw the past characters lives as they too grow. It was all so cute to read about and left me feeling extremely happy and content.

Now, there was one part that had me twisting up. I had to re-read the lines two-no!-three times! I could barely breathe, I had to set my Kindle down. Alas, I had to finish the story and I'm glad I did. Points to you Sherry for nearly giving me a heart attack ;)

All in all, this story was amazing, just like her last two. It was nice to see it all conclude so well.
