While I really can’t complain about a book that ends with the main character saying ‘I have good news,” I still don’t fully get what about the shift was so inherently bad. I mean, yes, because the Shift, there is the DMP (which stands for Department of Metaphysical Purity! (I didn’t remember; they said it towards the end of the book)) And apparently, because of the Shift more ghosts hang around after their deaths than they did before? I don’t know. I’m confused.
Again, having a two-month break in between read Shift and Shade then Shine probably didn’t help, but that’s totally the library’s fault, not mine!
Anyways, moving on. 
Zachary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to hug you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate 3A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and, don’t trust the beginning of this book. The first chapter is set like, hey, yeah, I’m pulling that one on you again!
But no. it didn’t that way.
Oh, also, Zach and aura got all cosmic in this book (and cosmic is Aura’s word, not mine)
So, yeah. Good book. Good ending book. Good ending ghost book.
Just overall good book.
