I'm not a fan of memoirs but this was too funny to pass. Carrie Fisher gains more brilliance along time.

While "Shockaholic" was similar to Carrie Fisher's previous "Wishful Drinking", I still really enjoyed this book. Carrie Fisher is funny and smart, and her experience with Electro Convulsion Therapy is incredibly fascinating. Unlike "Wishful Drinking", Fisher writes a great deal about her father, Eddie Fisher, and the time she spent with him leading up to his death. These moments were very touching, while still adding some of her wit. I will definitely be picking up her other biographies.
