Misunderstanding in Moscow

Im still reeling. I finished this in 2 sittings today and it was too short. The way they talk about old age and love and resentment and boredom and and and….It’s reminding me of ‘the fall’ and ‘a single man.’ Idk how I didn’t cry, I was tearing up throughout oh my god I wanna reread the other book of here that I read right now AAAAAA (edit: what?)

Edit: I reread it again this year but this time at age 20, as the book kind of intended (in my eyes) and I think I want to read this through my 20s, 50s, and 60s there’s something for every phase of life. Stunning

sweet, so observant, and she refracts herself in her work so masterfully, also this is a crazy book to break a dry spell on your birthday i did not know it would be so much about aging
