This was just okay for me - I didn’t feel like the FMC was strong at all and kinda just was a supporting character being supported by strong men. 

I also felt like this was super super similar to Lauren Asher’s F1 series

Cute and lighthearted. Decent pacing, no drama or common conflict troupes. The Epilouge felt a little rushed and forced in which is where it loses a star for me. But over all a good palette cleanser between darker stories.

Cute little book but did not like it as much as I thought I would. Really liked the communication between Dev and Willow and that there was no misunderstanding. Spice felt a bit rushed and shallow.

This is my first F1 book and it definitely won’t be my last. Even the epilogue was insane. I love a well written book that incorporates various cultures and beliefs as well as talking about childhood. Chefs kiss 💋!! It was just a sweet romance which explored discipline and maturity and I just loved it!

This is my First F1 Romance book and when I saw that Afterlight were doing a special edition as part of their book box I knew that It was going to be an exciting read and I can confirm that it was exactly that it was an enjoyable read that I seemed to just fly through and really enjoyed getting immersed into the world of F1

This Book Follows Dev and Willow, who are the main 2 characters in this one with each chapter coming for one of their POV. Dev is a Formula 1 driver and Willow is his best friend’s little sister and has had a crush on Dev for many years. After a Kiss between them both 7 years ago; Willow has now graduated, and she is jobless and after seeing her brother he confirms that Dev has gotten into a huge scandal and hew needs someone to fix that and Willow could just be that person.

I have to say that I was surprised by both Characters, I expected Dev to be a macho (Which tends to be the trend for males leads in sport romances, but this was not the case at all and his POV added a lot to the story and gave us a Behind the scenes view into the world of an F1 driver. Willow was just such a lovely Character, and it was clear that she cares a lot about her Family; especially her brother and didn’t want to live on her feelings for his best friend for the sake of his friendship group.

The only small regret I have with this one is that the ending felt a little rushed and it seemed that the storylines that were left till the end where quickly closed and the 'issue' with Willow's brother was a very anticlimactic despite being a huge point of the story.

Overall, this was a quite fun read and would recommend it to sport romance fans!

The writing was very good and smooth to read, so I will be checking out the other books of Simone in the future!

Thank you so much to the author for the ARC copy! I requested this because I thought it sounded cute (I’ve only read a few F1 romances, so I was interested to read another) and because of the disability rep. Overall, I enjoyed this one! 
I want to start off by saying that I did have some problems with the pacing: I wasn’t super interested at some points of the book and there were moments where I felt like it was dragging on. However, I will say that this was probably due to the fact that I have little experience with F1 romances and know basically nothing about it/or have interests. That’s not to say that I didn’t think this was a cool and unique aspect and sport to choose for this book, but I think my personal experience with F1 probably played a role in the pacing. 
Other than that, I enjoyed this! The romance is cute and I enjoyed seeing Willow and Dev come together! No third act breakup as well! Willow was a great MC as well, I loved her! Overall, I’d recommend this, especially if you like F1 romances! Thank you again to the author🫶🏻
