This was just okay for me - I didn’t feel like the FMC was strong at all and kinda just was a supporting character being supported by strong men.

I also felt like this was super super similar to Lauren Asher’s F1 series

Cute little book but did not like it as much as I thought I would. Really liked the communication between Dev and Willow and that there was no misunderstanding. Spice felt a bit rushed and shallow.

This is my first F1 book and it definitely won’t be my last. Even the epilogue was insane. I love a well written book that incorporates various cultures and beliefs as well as talking about childhood. Chefs kiss 💋!! It was just a sweet romance which explored discipline and maturity and I just loved it!

This is my First F1 Romance book and when I saw that Afterlight were doing a special edition as part of their book box I knew that It was going to be an exciting read and I can confirm that it was exactly that it was an enjoyable read that I seemed to just fly through and really enjoyed getting immersed into the world of F1

This Book Follows Dev and Willow, who are the main 2 characters in this one with each chapter coming for one of their POV. Dev is a Formula 1 driver and Willow is his best friend’s little sister and has had a crush on Dev for many years. After a Kiss between them both 7 years ago; Willow has now graduated, and she is jobless and after seeing her brother he confirms that Dev has gotten into a huge scandal and hew needs someone to fix that and Willow could just be that person.

I have to say that I was surprised by both Characters, I expected Dev to be a macho (Which tends to be the trend for males leads in sport romances, but this was not the case at all and his POV added a lot to the story and gave us a Behind the scenes view into the world of an F1 driver. Willow was just such a lovely Character, and it was clear that she cares a lot about her Family; especially her brother and didn’t want to live on her feelings for his best friend for the sake of his friendship group.

The only small regret I have with this one is that the ending felt a little rushed and it seemed that the storylines that were left till the end where quickly closed and the 'issue' with Willow's brother was a very anticlimactic despite being a huge point of the story.

Overall, this was a quite fun read and would recommend it to sport romance fans!

The writing was very good and smooth to read, so I will be checking out the other books of Simone in the future!

Her brother’s best friend sends her heart racing in this sparkling Formula 1 romance. Formula 1 driver Dev Anderson’s career is on the line. After a social media disaster leaves him with an angry team and sponsors threatening to jump ship, he needs someone to help save his image. At a party in Monaco, he bumps into the woman who can fix it all. There’s just one problem: she’s his best friend’s little sister. And, okay, maybe there’s another problem—he kissed her last year and hasn’t been able to stop thinking about it since. Recent college grad Willow Williams needs a job. She may have a talent for seeing the bright side of any bad situation, but it’s hard to stay positive when she’s struggling to get hired. So when Dev offers her a temporary solution, she can’t help but say yes. Even if it means ignoring the crush she’s had on him since childhood. Willow and Dev are determined to keep things strictly professional, regardless of old feelings and the blazing chemistry between them. But in the glittering and high-stakes world of Formula 1, some lines are meant to be crossed…
