This book took me a lot longer to read than I expected because I kept falling asleep when I tried to read, not because of the book itself but likely because school has started back up and I read at the end of the day when already tired.
That being said, Oren brings significant expertise to this story although the details of his expertise escape me at the moment. He fills this book with incredible detail, a significant portion of the book covers a mere 144 hours (6 days), while not cramming the level of details that "And the Show Went On" unfortunately managed. 
Although I do not particularly care for military history (just don't find it interesting), I thought Oren handled the battle descriptions well. I also found the pre and post war portions of the book as well as all the "side" scenes from the various international actors involved in this short war.
Perhaps if I had managed to read it without feeling like I had missed significant chunks due to dozing off and misremembering where I left off, I would have rated it higher.
